Happy Friday!

May 16, 2008 · 1 Comment

This was a pretty good week! I turned a year wiser yesterday and I want to thank everyone for the birthday wishes! Looking forward to a good year.

I want to wish everyone the best of luck this year at the National Stationery Show! Especially my friend Dana at Shimmer Studio.

Tomorrow I am sharing a table with my lovely friend Meredith at an art show. There will be art, handmade cards, bands, and cupcakes – so come out! It is in Wicker Park.

I printed these yesterday – customized thank you cards! She requested silver on dark brown and I was happy with the results – since I am always fearful of printing on dark. This is a one color screen print. Working on cutting down a new retro thank you card and a Chère, Mademoiselle card with deer. I’ll post photos on those later.

hey are you using a gocco for these or are you set up with a screen? these look awesome…I love light on dark! Also I found this cool sight http://photojojo.com/content/diy/inkjet-image-transfers/ remember at ringling when we were doing the xerox transfers with turp? I thought these were really cool!

Hi Staci – i go back and forth between using a screen and doing traditional screen printing and gocco-ing. I actually used my gocco on this. I just got the b6 one – after having the smaller B5 model for a few years now. It works like a charm. Thanks for the link – that looks pretty cool – I will have to check it out. No fumes – isn’t that the best part ;) ~ cindy
