The Grind Cafe

November 29, 2007 · 3 Comments

This past month I had paintings, collages, and the Blue Grass Birds gocco print hanging in The Grind Cafe in beautiful Lincoln Square. A special thanks to the super nice and creative Jamie and Todd for helping display the art and managing the art for the month of November. It’s nice meeting creative souls outside of art school - especially when they live in your neighborhood.

I love exposed brick. LOVE it.

Just finished my cards for the upcoming holidays. Despite working 3 jobs, it feels so good making the time to work on my personal projects, even it that means pulling late, late nights and early mornings.

Cindy, the show looks great as does your blog. I was just thinking the other day that I need to get a frame for the awesome banjo print you gave me. Good stuff!

    Hello Cindy,

Just visited your log and i love what you are doing, aspecially the art on the brick wall. I like the lightness and the colours. To me it’s also interesting to see how your paintings allow the wall to soften and it still keeps it’s roughness.
(pff..hope you know what i mean…i’m dutch, my grammar is not that great..anyways..)
Good luck and a happy new year!
