Constant Correspondence
9 3/4″ x 9 3/4″ acrylic on MDF.
- because it’s always more fun receiving letters in the mail than bills. I will try to get a better image of it once I get to a better scanner. My scanner at home is on its last limb.

A few close ups of the gold.
I’ve been really digging the band Pela the past two days. Thanks, Derek for the introduction. Sometimes you just need to rock out to some good music.

Once the smoke clears, I need to start carrying around my loyal sketchbook. And perhaps a good companion for my sketchbook would be my Polaroid camera.

Here’s a piece of my sketchbook, of course, mostly love-tied girls and boys trying to figure out how to keep their breaking hearts a bay.

Illustrations from Elementarz a Polish textbook with illustrations by Jerzy Karolak. My mother had given me her copy from when she was a little lass. At a recent excursion to the one of the many Polish bookstores in Chicago, I came across a newer edition, which I purchased for myself and returned my mom’s beautifully worn book back to her hands. (There’s something about a worn book, especially if it is owned by someone close to you at a different time when you were hardly a thought.) The illustrations are wonderful with great attention to detail, beautiful line work, and rich colors. Not to forget, the clothing on the kids in the book- my favorite piece of all.

For me, Fall is a time of renewal and reinvention. New classes, new school supplies, new shoes, new clothes… new website! After about 4 years since I butchered my way through Dreamweaver I’ve handed my baby off to my favorite web designer. I should have it up and running early October.

After listening to a lot of country music the past month, I was inspired to create this piece - single color gold print on French paper - 5X7 on my gocco.

Hello and welcome to my art blog. No better way to say hello than with a 3-color print gocco card. Ink colors: pink, gold, and white. A2 size on French Paper, blank inside. I have been printing a lot lately, trying to generate work for the Rockwell Crossing Art Walk on October 6th. It will be my first craft/art show, so we will see how it goes. I will be sporting handmade cards, gocco prints, and paintings. On this little blog of mine I would like to keep everyone updated on my progress and art making, as well as a documentation of my progress. Constructive critiques are welcome as well as saying hello.

This is the final card with rounded corners and matching envelope. You can purchase the prints on my etsy. Go write your heart out!
